万人のための地球 – Earth for All Japanese Launch

On 30 November the Japanese edition of Earth for All: A Survival Guide for Humanity will be published and will be launched at a special event as part of the International Forum on Sustainable Asia and the Pacific (ISAP2022) Conference.

Earth for All: A Survival Guide for Humanity was published in English and German in September 2022 and presents the results of a remarkable two-year research collaboration. It presents two alternative scenarios – Too Little Too Late and The Giant Leap – and what they mean for our collective future. It also details the five extraordinary turnarounds – the minimum actions we need to take now to achieve wellbeing for all within planetary boundaries.

The Japanese translation was made possible thanks to the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES), Maruzen Publishing and The Japanese Association for The Club of Rome.

At the International Forum on Sustainable Asia and the Pacific (ISAP2022), held on 28 November at Pacifico Yokohama, IGES will hold a public session to mark the publication of the Japanese edition of the book.  In a special plenary entitled From Science to Policy Action Earth for All co-author Sandrine Dixson-Declève will join a distinguished panel to discuss the integrated solutions needed to address our global challenges and how we can strengthen the interface between science, policy and action.
